I work with you & your spouse to prepare you for life with baby. I facilitate skill building so you can the best parenting team possible.

In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents learn to strengthen their relationship and foster baby’s development during this challenging time. They build on what research has found is the best predictor of marital adjustment after baby arrives: the quality of friendship in the marriage.

I combine scientific research and expertise working with parents to improve the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening their families. I teach new parents how to gain relationship satisfaction and create healthy social, emotional and intellectual development for their children.

I provide a safe environment for both teens and parents to help mediate and solve problems that arise during this tumultuous period. The parent -child-relationship is one of the most sacred on earth, and I’m here to help.

It was once believed that teens were impulsive due to raging hormones and that they were difficult because they hated authority. But advances in brain imaging, which gathered force in the 2000s, told a much more complicated story.

This new understanding of the biology that underlies these behaviors can be helpful to both teenagers and their parents. I stress the importance of setting examples of appropriate emotional responses and helping young people navigate difficult situations that are increasingly common among adolescents.
